Hey - thanks so much for checking out this page. "Describe yourself in three words" is kind of a boring way for us to meet. Instead, here's 2 phrases which come to mind:

"student of life" and "lover of people." Clootzlife was born out of a passion for personal development and that same love of people.

Like many journeys, my journey in self-development starts with my mom. Growing up, she would read me stories, sometimes in the Portuguese she brought with her to the US, and sometimes in English.

Each night, she would call me into her room, and sit at the foot of the bed as she'd read aloud from this big, turquoise-blue picture-book collection of Grimm's Fairytales. It always gave me nightmares, but I couldn't get to sleep without it.

So each night, I'd listen. And each night, she'd read.

But as I got older, and began reading plenty of fiction of my own, my mom figured she would use our joint reading sessions for something a little different.

One day, circa age 10, I came in to find the book she held in her hands was different - no pictures, hard-cover, marble-white. As she read, she would ask me questions - about where in my own life I could find elements of what I was hearing. About what I could change. About what I could do.

She would encourage me to reflect, apply, and challenge myself - even when there was nothing there to challenge me.

And thus, Malcolm Gladwell was my first exposure to the art of self-growth.

Over 10,000 hours and a decade later.

Clootzlife was born. To help you get where you could be.

Because behind every great idea, behind every great brand, behind every great story is a person - with their own quirks and pains and loves. You are the protagonist of an epic the likes of which the world has never seen, and will never see again. The epic of you.

The fancy stuff.
